Swiss architect Paul Gredinger mentions in the introduction to Karl Gerstner’s Designing Programmes that one of the simplest examples of that work can be found in the act of weaving: ‘placing two sets of threads called the warp and weft of the loom and turning them into cloth’. Using the stitch as a module, we created an alphabet and icons for a merchandising company specialized in cotton products.
